The travel accident insurance plan provides insurance to those who meet with accidental death or dismemberment while traveling on University business, away from the principal place of employment.The death or dismemberment should take place within one year of the accident in order to be benefitted.The plan says that the dismemberment should mean the severance of a hand or foot above the wrist or ankle or the loss of sight in an eye permanently. When accidents happen, the travel insurance accident coverage will provide for the deaths, flight crashes and injuries you get during your travel abroad.You can avail twenty five thousand to 1 lakh dollars by the insurance company.
There are some exceptions in the travel accident coverage benefits.For example, if you drive under alcohol influence or under any narcotic substance, you will not be able to get accidental coverage when you meet with an accident. |
